Food was always great, with a good variety & the staff had no problem accommodating dietary requirements. They even offer to deliver meals to your room & will provide a fire in the evenings if you like. There was a great selection of things to do, including ATV's, river rafting, off-road driving & a flying fox. We did actually enjoy river-rafting through the river which runs directly through the camp-site. The nature is beautiful & peaceful, and worth the extra drive out to the area.
Also, not a negative because I love cats, but there are camp cats running around that love to beg for pets & food; my friend unfortunately scared of cats, so just something to be aware of.
Unfortunately, there's an issue with the bathrooms, where there's simply no ventilation causing a damp smell to carry through the tents. This is a pretty straightforward fix, so I hope it's implemented for future guests.
Communication for us was easy because we had a friend who spoke Bahasa, but without him, I think we would've struggled. There were one staff that did speak to us in limited English when we did our initial check in, but we didn't see her from that point on. Also, communication through the booking.com messaging system was slow & a bit difficult, so I advise having someone with you who can communicate on your behalf.
