This was honestly one of the best and most welcoming stays I have ever had. The host was exceptionally kind, thoughtful, and helpful. He genuinely cared about my experience on the island and always went out of his way to help, rather than simply answering questions when asked. When I wanted to buy a waterproof phone pouch, he immediately called several local shops for me and found out exactly which two stores had them in stock. I was always worried that I might be bothering him by asking for help, but he was actually the one constantly offering help before I even asked. He really made me feel like I was being looked after by a family member rather than just staying at someone’s property. He is also a police officer and speaks several languages, which gave me an incredible sense of safety and comfort as a solo traveler. The accommodation itself was also exceptionally well prepared. I was welcomed with fresh fruit, water, local wine, sweets and coffee?（something in the kitchen for breakfast. The kitchen, washing and dry machine and necessities were all provided, so I had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. There was even a discount for a massage place about a 10-minute walk away. The ladies there was so sweet but it’s better to make reservations several hours before I accidentally stained the bed sheet during my stay (like a muddy monkey) and also asked if there was a slightly warmer blanket. He very quickly brought me fresh sheets and a thicker blanket without making me feel embarrassed or inconvenient at all. The location is excellent as well: about 2 minutes from the sea, and only 3–7 minutes from the meeting points for all the boat trips I joined. There is also a very good local seafood restaurant about 3 minutes away, which the host recommended to me. Most importantly, the whole experience reminded me of Xenia, the ancient Greek tradition of hospitality — treating guests with genuine warmth, generosity and care. This host truly embodies that spirit.

You truly felt like you’re in a little nest. A perfectly well located area near the bus station, restaurants, and the Port. It was a wonderful apartment to rest during my vacation. I would come back to the island and stay here again! The host was incredibly kind and supportive!
