I stayed with my husband and 2 children. We all really enjoyed our stay. Everything we needed was provided and everywhere was clean. It is in a great location and very close to attractions and supermarkets etc. We had no problem with getting the keys and opening doors and had the codes including WiFi password before we arrived. The communication from the host is excellent and we would definitely recommend the property to friends and family. Also although we didn't visit the pub opposite there was no trouble of any kind and the patrons all seemed very respectful of the neighbours and it didn't disturb us at all.
The only thing that we could have done with was a nice big fan as it was really hot at night.

We liked the location, the space and what was able to use there.
If I had younger children I would have been on edge thinking they would fall out the window as some of the children locks weren't on them.

It is really spacious, nicely decorated (could do with a touch up in places). Kitchen is well equipped (no chopping knives 🤷🏼♀️ but does have measuring spoons). Easy to find and good parking space outside. It’s really easy to walk to the promenade, town centre and station (we got the train into Liverpool. Little tip - get your tickets from the station it’s cheaper and they do a family ticket).
No welcome book / user guide… we had an issue with the hot water (which looking at reviews on airbnb is not the first time). It would just be easier if there were instructions… getting a message to say turn the switch on in the boiler room… with no indication of which switch it might be. (I did end up messaging owner directly to show what I’d done, to check it was correct). Also water needs an hour to heat up! So do it as soon as you get there.
No WiFi codes left … again it would be easier if this was just there for when you arrive. As you need to contact the owner.
Front bedroom smells faintly of cigarettes - think it is coming in from next door or below. Thankfully had some zoflora spray in the car, which helped.
There is also no iron… there is an ironing board as you can see in the photo. There were also other minor things which I’ve mentioned to the owner so that hopefully he can fix these.
