Good location for railway - too basic and bit dated - lacking the finishing touches we’re used to.

The TV was modern & user friendly The accommodation was convenient for railway station.

We provide feedback for quality improvement purposes only- privacy concerns - please do not publish or share our feedback for future customer review- City centre-property was on a noisy busy road. Even with double glazing the traffic noise could be heard. Not relaxing. The main door is self locking - this needs to be made clear prior to arrival ! The air fresheners were SO overpowering on arrival. Plug in air fresheners could have been a problem for guests with asthma. We switched them off -it was so irritating. Lack of cutlery provided - 2 forks, two knives, 2 spoons- 1 tea towel -bit basic! Oven was basic & flimsy & lacking oven glove & no baking trays. There was washing up liquid- but NO fresh Jay cloth was provided for new arrivals. There was no window blind in the downstairs bathroom- privacy ! No window blind either in kitchen - sun & privacy concern. No plug for bathroom sink- inconsiderate. The stairs did have handrails - but was quite narrow & steep. Took time to adjust to downstairs bathroom - more inconvenient than we realised. Followed instructions for central heating - press button in kitchen-orange light came on- but heating still didn’t work- at all! The old timer in kitchen was loose on wall. Wasn't convinced it was working! Sigh. Really disappointing. Hot water was poor and took time to get to decent temp for shallow bath. Overall property & accessories felt dated-quilts bit flimsy & covers dated not matching. Upstairs smelled bit stale. Parking inconvenient. Lorries from the construction site opposite-was noisy early morning. Garden area was neat & tidy - new fencing etc but the view of neighbours garden - young toddler play pit called ‘Doobie Den’ set the wrong tone. Net curtain might have helped. Felt like budget accommodation - would have felt overpriced for what we paid - without paying last minute price.

This is a great little place to stay. Really central to everything and just a 1 minute walk to the supermarket. The hosts were amazing, super quick to reply to messages and really accommodating to our needs.

This is a great little place to stay. Really central to everything and just a 1 minute walk to the supermarket. The hosts were amazing, super quick to reply to messages and really accommodating to our needs.
