host totally incompetent and very rude

The apartment is well located, completely renovated and very clean. All would have been perfectly well if the host had not been so totally incompetent.

We had called the host a day before our arrival to ask how to access the apartment and were told that we should call about 30 minutes before arrival. Somebody would then meet us to hand over the keys. When we tried calling before arrival nobody would answer the phone. We managed to find the given address but it turned out to be the wrong number (the apartment is not calle Toril #7 but on the other side of the street). After several more attempts to call we were about to give up when a lady who was renting another place in the same building offered her help. She managed to reach the host via whatsapp and was rudely told by him that he would not answer our calls because he only accepts whatsapp contacts. How totally crazy is that??? 1# - the contact info for the apartment is listed as a telephone line 2# - we had previously communicated with him by phone 3# - it is totally unacceptable to require guests to use whatsapp (a private messaging service) 4# - the host had our email address as well and also refused to communicate through that Only through the help of the other lady guest were we finally able to access the key to our apartment. Had we not met her we would have been left with no place to stay!

El apartamento super bien ubicado y todo muy limpio. No le falta detalle. Además la comunicación con el anfitrión muy buena y nos dejó salir mas tarde del apartamento para evitar las horas de sol que hacía ese fin de semana en Cordoba. Muy recomendable, volveremos.
