The host was very kind and welcoming, creating a warm, homely atmosphere. The accommodation was clean, comfortable and pleasant. We appreciated having access to the kitchen to prepare our own meals, and fresh towels and bed linen were provided at the beginning of our stay.
The city centre was around a 40-minute walk away, although there was a bus stop and bike rental nearby. The walls were quite thin, so we could hear doors opening and closing, especially in the evening, although it generally became quieter at night. The house is also next to a kindergarten, so keeping the windows closed is advisable. We booked a room with a private bathroom, but it was located outside the room, which took some getting used to. Breakfast was included in the price, but we had to prepare it ourselves. Bread, butter and one egg per person were provided. There is nothing wrong with this arrangement, but we expected a more substantial breakfast or a clearer description of what was included when booking.

Sehr freundliche Vermiterin
Etwas weiter abseits gelegen aber mit dem Auto kein Problem. Bushaltestelle vor der Tür.

Very nice hostess, spacious room, bus stop right in front of the house, included breakfast.
Shared kitchen, Could be closer to the center of Cascais (30/40min walk), small children in the other rooms might be noisy.
