View from the balcony was beautiful house was quite roomy Furnishings were just okay
Location was much further out of Hill City than we were told. the climb up the mountain required a four-wheel drive vehicle as Gravel Road was very poorly maintained with huge washouts. junk being stored under the house in plain view was not very attractive. the many balconies and wooden additions to the house were poorly built which means they snap crackled and popped with expanding and Contracting and boards were very loose to walk on. toilet roll holders were loose in both bathrooms. ceiling light fixtures desperately needed dimmers as they were incredibly bright and hard to work with. an extreme lack of lamps in the house and those that were there were small and cheap with bare light bulbs making them very uncomfortable to use. thought there was supposed to be a TV in each bedroom there was not. thought there was supposed to be three bathrooms there was not. tiny upstairs bedroom was kind of useless. Roku TV was terrible couldn't even find the normal channels everyone would want. for some strange reason the microwave was hidden in the pantry instead of being mounted over the stove as it should have been. some of the furniture was very cheap like the strange cardboard drawer unit in the guest bedroom and the lamps were tiny and terrible. I'm always amazed that people would pay what must have been at least half a million dollars to have this lodge built and then furnish it with junk! windows were dirty.
