Great value in the center and nice host!

The location was perfect, right in the center. The host let us check-in early. The bed was comfy and it was quiet at night that we slept very well! AC worked perfectly!

It could be a bit cleaner(especially sofa and shower booth).

Great central location, but mixed overall experience

The accommodation is located directly next to the Arasta Mosque, on the edge of the Old Bazaar in Skopje. The view partially overlooks the lively street with cafés, including rose bushes and a minaret. The building appears to have been recently renovated. The apartment includes a living room with a sofa, coffee table, and TV, as well as an open kitchen with a small dining table and two chairs. The bedroom offers a double bed, two bedside tables, and a wardrobe. The bathroom is equipped with a shower, toilet, and sink. The bed was freshly made, and clean towels were provided. Check-in details for accessing the building and apartment were shared clearly and in good time. Communication via WhatsApp was friendly and reliable. As our first accommodation in North Macedonia, I could immediately and easily imagine living there. 😁

Upon entering the apartment, there was a noticable smell of cigarette smoke, which unfortunately lingered even after extended ventilation. The warming blankets could benefit from additional washing, as they carried the scent of previous use. The water boiler takes quiet a while to heat up, which makes spontanious short showers less convenient. I did not feel entirely clean. The stairway has no handrail and there is no elevator, also the evenings, it can also be somewhat noisy, which can be relevant for some potential guests. Having stayed in other accomodations in North Macedonia later, I would say that within a similar price range, there are options that offer higher consistency in terms of comfort, cleanliness, and amenities such as included breakfast or views. That said, some of the issues mentioned could be improved, and the location is excellent and the apartment spacious, with a responsive and trustworthy host, so it might still be a solid option for a stay in Skopje.

L appartamento è in posizione centrale nel vecchio bazar, vicino a tutte le attrazioni, comodo da raggiungere, nuovo .

Si trova sotto a un minareto quindi alle 5 del mattino si sente un po' il richiamo alla preghiera, non ci sono pentole per cucinare se non una piccola padella... posate insufficienti. Si potrebbe curare un po' di più la pulizia..più attenzione.! Per il resto lo consiglio!
