Great location in a very interesting city, the refurbishment and furnishing of these ( the owner has other gems adjoining and is possibly refurbishing some more nearby ) gorgeous houses has obviously been done to the highest standard by an experienced team who know what they are doing. If only all houses of this age were restored and upgraded so thoughtfully.
This is one of, if not the top houses we have stayed in due to its location, finish and attention to detail. We had traveled here by train so did not need the parking at the rear of the property, and due to the rain we did not use the patio, although it is a nice touch as is the parking. Both bathrooms are spacious and luxurious with the largest showers I have used so far adding to the general opulence of the entire property. Comfy large beds allow a good nights sleep, with the pillows being a little on the soft side for me but not a big deal. The generous kitchen is top quality and seems to have everything you could need although we would rarely be bothering to use it as eating out is more our thing when we are away. Another nice touch is the milk in the fridge, a packet of biscuits and a bottle of prosecco ( pity we aren't fizzy wine drinkers but who's to know ), so many thanks to the host.
The only thing my partner mentioned was that she would have liked a full length mirror in the bedroom, the lack of which is not the end of the world and was mentioned in one of the other reviews, its just that I am sure the host would like to know these things and can feel free to contact me if he needs to.

Gorgeous house, great facilities and very central.
A couple of cleaning issues - chips in the sofa, expired bottle of milk in the fridge.

Very comfortable and stylish with period features. Onsite parking with EV charging. Joe was very quick to respond and was always helpful.
Nothing, apart from the seagulls, but seriously it’s a lovely place to spend a few nights.
