A very unpleasant experience – not to be recommended!
Unfortunately, there’s nothing positive to say about this experience. From the photos and our private messages on Booking, everything seemed fine, but as soon as we arrived at the accommodation, there was no one there to welcome us. The keys had been left at the shop downstairs, but the person didn’t speak English and didn’t seem to realise that they weren’t the right keys shown in the photo. There was no spare key as agreed via Booking messages, and we had to fend for ourselves entirely to find the accommodation and our room. The manager didn’t even apologise or turn up at the property; instead, he sent the cleaning lady the next morning upon our request, who also didn’t speak English, and she did her best to help us with the missing bed linen, towels and spare key. It was very unpleasant for us, as well as for the cleaning lady and the shop assistant, who didn’t seem to be at fault for the situation.
To elaborate on what was said:
We had a communication problem with the accommodation manager, who didn’t welcome us very warmly and didn’t speak English very well, which made it very difficult for us to find our way there. We had to call him several times and message him on WhatsApp.
There was only one bed made up, even though there were two of us and we’d booked for two people on Booking, and nobody came to bring us sheets that same day. The accommodation manager’s response was that he wasn’t in Prague and might be able to come the following day.
We were supposed to have an extra set of keys, as agreed via message on Booking and also by phone, but we also had to go to insist the next day. Otherwise, we would never have seen them.
The bath towels were, in fact, two small bath mats. So we also had to ask for extra towels for two people; three nights is a bit unacceptable.
It was the cleaning lady who came to give us the keys and the missing items on the second day at the accommodation manager’s behest, but it was equally complicated because she didn’t speak English. Fortunately, she was friendly and tried to help us as best she could.
Furthermore, there was no storage space in the house to keep our belongings, there was no fridge in the kitchen, no information about Wi-Fi and, above all, there were dust mites everywhere, which triggered allergies. An old building lacking proper cleaning and facilities, very noisy, and the hot water didn’t work properly either.
For check-out, we didn’t receive any instructions or contact from the accommodation manager or anyone else either. We left both keys at the shop downstairs as we had done for check-in, but the shop assistant didn’t even know if that was the procedure; she agreed to keep the keys and didn’t say a word (perhaps because she didn’t speak English either and wasn’t aware of the arrangements).

Od wejścia do klatki schodowej unoszący się smród starych brudnych przepoconych skarpetek, który zastał nas również w "apartamencie". Po wejściu do środka zastał nas przedpokój, który był cały w folii jakby przygotowany do remontu zaklejone mieliśmy także drzwi do toalety, przez co musieliśmy rozrywać folie aby dostać się do środka, po wejściu do toalety zastaliśmy grzyb na suficie i na ścianach który idealnie komponował się z odpadającym tynkiem od ścian, podłoga cała usyfiona tynkiem, błotem, kurzem, idąc dalej do kuchni zastaliśmy nie opróżniony kosz na śmieci w którym były puste puszki po alkoholu, z piekarnika śmierdziało jakby tam coś zdechło, klejąca maź na stole z grubą warstwą kurzu, z łazienki wyjście na balkon wielkosci metr na metr z którego był widok na podwórko i daszek na którym był gruz, śmieci i zużyte prezerwatywy, sama łazienka brudna, na ścianach mnóstwo pająków, kamienia i osadu, na ścianie pisuar z zasiedziałym smierdzacym moczem, w pierwszym pokoju po otwarciu drzwi odpadła klamka, sam pokój tak samo jak reszta - zaniedbany, brudny, w oknie brak klamki i odpadajace śruby, pościel poplamiona i na dodatek dziurawa, na ścianie odpadająca, stara tapeta spod której wyłaniała się pleśń, grzyb, w lampkach nocnych brak żarówek, w drugim pokoju zamiast firanki była moskitiera, a z okna wyłaniał się widok na ścianę starego bloku, a wygladajac za okno był widok wcześniej opisanego daszku z gruzem, śmieciami i zużytymi prezerwatywami, pościel była wątpliwej świeżości, w pokoju znajdowało się jakieś łóżko polowe z zasmierdziałymi kołdrami, pod którym znajdowała się gruba warstwa kurzu. Kontakt z właścicielem po przyjeździe uzyskaliśmy dopiero po około godzinie, nie odbierał telefonu, nie odpisywał na wiadomości, kontakt z obiektem fatalny.

La proprietate nu mi a plăcut decât faptul ca este aproape de metrou și de centrul orașului.
Apartamentul nu arată ca în poze: nu am avut căldură, în camere nu exista televizor, șifonier, comodă sau măcar un cuier unde să poți pune hainele, am avut decât 4 prosoape mici pentru 6 persoane. Pe jos era destul de murdar, apa la duș venea când rece când caldă. Paturile au fost singurele confortabile și mari.
