The host may give you access to the kitchen if you ask (shared apartment). A/C included in the price. You get physical keys. Easy access to Milano Central.
It's a room in an apartment. You share the apartment with very nice girls (but you share it!). Mind the SHORT check-in hours. Milano has very high city tax (it's of course not the fault of the host, but just letting you know) that you need to pay in cash. Have an exact amount ready.

The studio was very clean and had everything I needed. The location is great as well (20 min to the train station and about 30 min to the cathedra). Zarina was very nice and friendly.

A 10 minuti a piedi da M3 Maciachini e alle soglie di Dergano (via interna a viale Jenner), in una palazzina d’epoca graziosa, ho soggiornato in questa stanza di alloggio condiviso con cucina comune. Stanza e bagno privato (piccolo) assai spartani, ma puliti, luminosi e accoglienti. Letto comodo. Il plus è la gestione di Zarina che è host attenta e precisa. Consigliabile per una notte al volo, che sia per lavoro o per un concerto al vicino Alcatraz. Prezzo in linea con le proposte di Milano.

The location was good, and it was easy to get around on city bikes, though there were also trams. The person in charge of the room was friendly and helpful. The kitchen was also essential for me, as I prefer to cook for myself rather than go out when I travel nearby.
The bed was quite uncomfortable and slightly lumpy. With a good mattress, it would have made a world of difference. The Wi-Fi in the room was weak and slow. (It was faster to use my phone.) The distribution of the room was a little strange, and there was no lounge chair or sofa to sit in, so it was either on the bed or the desk chair.
