Staying here felt like walking into a friend's house that had been prepared for our arrival. We never met the owner and still felt completely welcomed. Mosquito repellent, toys for the children, separate cutlery for adults and kids, even milk and eggs waiting for us. Everything was squeaky clean. Beds are comfortable.
Three storeys, two bedrooms plus a fold-out bed in the kitchen. Comfortable for two couples, workable for three. The kitchen has an oven, hob and a large fridge, though we barely cooked because the tavern next door serves the best food on the island.
The beach is two minutes away. Out the door, turn left, and there it is, one of the cleanest in the country. It's pebbly, so bring water shoes.
Best of all, there are no other tourist rentals immediately next door, so no late-night arrivals and no loud conversations through the wall. That has been our problem every other year in this area. The neighbours were friendly and helpful too.
We've already booked for next year. A great place to gather with friends and stay a while.
Well nothing about the place; everything was great. You need to be prepared that the house takes a little finding, and taxi drivers tend to drop you at the only hotel nearby, which is the wrong spot. I've uploaded photos to help, and it's straightforward once you know where you're heading. Also worth knowing that the bedrooms don't have doors, so it suits close friends or family.
