Old charm and accommodated us comfortably. Very easy check in and Beyond Concierge were super helpful. Swimming pool is beautiful and very clean. With large pool towels for each room. Massive dining room for large groups and fans in every room and mosquito plugs.
The mosquito candles for outside were all old and needed replacing. Each room needs more hand towels, not just a bath towel. The 2 main master bedrooms have baths with a hand held hose to shower in, it was so difficult to shower without the water going everywhere! The bbq’s were left dirty after their last uses and needed cleaning before we could use them. Bins outside not large enough for size of the house’s rubbish over a week. The iron fencing and gates around the house are all in a need of painting as all rusted.

Die Villa ist sehr schön eingerichtet und bietet einem alles was man benötigt! Wir waren sehr zufrieden. Es war sauber, sehr geräumig und die Ausstattung war super.
Es wäre mega wenn es Mückengitter an den Fenstern hätte, damit man in der Nacht besser belüften kann.

A beautiful villa nicely located in the St Emilion region, in easy reach of all the top wineries (and is a wine-producing vineyard itself). A car is a necessity. There are 5 bedrooms which can sleep 2 in each (3 have ensuites, the other bathrooms are next to the bedrooms), and there is a hall area which has 2 sets of bunks so could sleep 4 children. Living areas are spacious and delightful - a time warp going back 100 or more years ago! Beautiful pool, BBQ and outdoor area make for wonderful evening dinners in the warmer months. We were met by Iona from the concierge service who was extremely helpful and delightful. Any contact with this service was always prompt. For large groups, this is a great property.
Very minor. Pool alarm can go off in high winds. Gardener ineffective. He came during the stay for a short time and used a blower to try to clean up outdoor areas, which became a mess again within hours. Neither detracted at all from our stay.
