Dirtiest place ever - dirty toilets, sinks, kitchen, living area, bedsheets...Terrible experience.
The unit was reasonably spacious
The place was SO DIRTY it is truly shocking. Every room from the kitchen to the bathroom, living and sleeping area was far below acceptable standards of cleanliness. I spent the afternoon off the first day and the morning of the second day requesting for cleaning, which was still extremely poorly done, to the extent that I went across the road to the supermarket and bought antiseptic cleaning supplies to clean it myself. The microwave and even the sofa was gross, extremely dirty.
The stairs in the duplex were a safety hazard as they were uneven and each step was very high. I was moved to a regular apartment (not a duplex) which was even dirtier than the duplex. The excuse was that it wasn't easy to host. But why weren't the bedsheets even changed (they were visibly dirty and slept on and I had to request fresh ones). When they changed them, they retained the for pillow cases, so I had to request for clean ones. The clincher was when I dropped something on the floor near the bed and bent down to pick it up. There was a thick layer of old dust, empty bottles (yes, plural) and trash under the bed. I had already spent one night in that room. Needless to say, I soon started seeing cockroaches.
The toilet - the seat was visibly dirty and when I asked for it to be cleaned, you won't believe the staff used a toilet brush (yes, the one you use to clean waste INSIDE the toilet) to scrub. I was there and both that yes, they did use the same brush inside the toilet. With soap, but still!

What a horrible experience. I still paid for the time spent there.
My workmates found me a decent place for the rest of my stay. I thank God.
