It was so much more than the description and the photos.
2 bedrooms, one of which is much larger than average double bedroom. Both bedrooms face the river at the front and are upstairs.
Downstairs is the main room, dining table, TV etc.
The bathroom is on this floor, modern.
Kitchen with everything you need, big aga type gas cooker. Loads of pots n pans, mini fryer, microwave, utensils and much more. From the kitchen is a glass paned door leasing to the jewel of the house, the terrace/veranda. Table and chairs, garden sofa and chair, 2 recliner chairs on the large boxed flowered veranda.
This is at the back but it makes it private. Ate outside all the time! So relaxing.
Loved it! The furniture is old fashioned but in a good way, top quality, cosy, some lovely touches. (The photos don't do it justice).
Would definitely book again, it's a gem.
The views from the front windows onto the river front are mesmerising, could've stayed here all day people watching!

Booked short notice, family crisis, host was fantastic and met all our needs. Went over an above to accomodate all our requests. Fabulous service!

Just suggestions, maybe a sofa bed in both the room & main large bedroom to accommodate larger families.

Great location. Lovely river views. Superbly clean and well maintained. Large property for the money.
Portable aircon provided in the bedroom during the heatwave.
Stated to be the whole property but this is not correct.
There is a flat on the ground floor which has open access to the stairs that access the living room and the bedrooms of the holiday home. You have to use that staircase to get from the bedrooms to the bathroom. No guarantee of privacy.
A key is provided to lock the doors to the bedrooms and the door to the main living area but you cannot secure the stairs from the occupant of the ground floor flat.
