Located in a historic district, the house itself was remarkably new and modern, and very clean.
The rooms were rather cramped, so large suitcases would be necessary. Occasionally, there was methane gas coming from the water pipes. The air conditioning was locked and couldn't be controlled. A coffee capsule machine was provided, but the host never brought any capsules by check-out time. When I inquired with the cleaning staff, they said they didn't understand my language and were difficult to communicate with. Italian B&Bs generally offer very little assistance; what you see is what you get. This is my impression from my recent stays in Italian B&Bs.
