The breakfast was excellent, with a good variety of tasty options. The staff were friendly, helpful and always willing to assist, which made our stay more enjoyable.
Overall, the excellent breakfast and welcoming staff were the highlights of our stay, but the room would benefit from better maintenance and more attention to basic amenities.
However, there were several issues with the room. While we had booked a Standard Double Room and were given what appeared to be a larger room, the room itself felt more worn and dated than shown in the photos. There were visible maintenance issues, including water damage inside the bathroom cabinet and damaged skirting boards.
The room description stated that a hairdryer was provided, but there was none in the room. Small bottles of shampoo and shower gel were available, but there was no hand soap.
The biggest issue was that the toilet flush was not working properly. After using the toilet, we were unable to flush it, which significantly affected our overall experience.
