This is genuinely an oasis for anyone walking the Camino Primitivo. Gepke and her family are so welcoming and truly understand the needs of pilgrims. The communal dinner was amazing and accommodated my vegetarian preference (rare on the Primitivo) and laundry service was even included with our stay! We felt so pampered. Gepke also heroically got us all to the top of a mountain to watch a solar eclipse that threatened to be ruined by a low fog, which was above and beyond the call of duty of a hospitalero! Our experience here was an absolute highlight of our camino and the place I felt the truest sense of community during my pilgrimage. I'll never forget it!

Las anfitrionas no hablaban ni una palabra de español. Tienen un negocio en España y ni siquiera saben decir Buenos Días en español, después de saber que yo no lo hablaba. Además, eran desconfiadas, posiblemente porque no confían en los españoles.
