La Grotta Suite Matera is a real cave at the entrance of the old town of Matera which offers a very easy access to the main points of interest as well as the beautiful paved streets of Matera. Also because of its location, we did not had to drag our suitcases over challenging alleys, just a few steps.
Salvatore the owner is very helpful and our communication was excellent throughout!
The suite itself was super clean and had all the amenities for an enjoyable stay!
You need to bear in mind that because this is an actual cave there is no window or balcony, only ventilation but we were aware and didn't mind. Also there is increased humidity which is also a result of the nature of this house (cave).
It would be also helpful to add some hooks in the bathroom for the towels and a blackout curtain/roller on the external door to be able to use in the morning when the light comes in.

Todo, es increíble , una cueva literalmente , fresca limpia y en un lugar increíble con acceso al centro de Matera, bares, restaurantes etc
