Haslar Rooms

Really nice room, clean and everything I needed. Location was quiet with a nice restaurant/bar across the road.

The TV was temperamental, took a long time to get anything on, as I was only staying one night it wasn't such an issue so lived with it. Room got a little chilly but did find a fan heater.

Location was brilliant for getting to the ferry to Portsmouth Historic Dockyard and easy walk to Gosport. Free parking was a big plus and the property was well set out and clean and well equipped. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location of the Creek restaurant was a bonus and the food and staff were good.

The water pressure in the bathroom could have been better but this was probably the same in all the rooms, it did not detract from our stay.

Location, facilities

Better instructions on how to find the office would have been useful as the name on the gates don’t match. The room would have been impossible to find out of hours as there were no signs to indicate which building the room was in. Thankfully a member of staff was still there to show me the way. The bed was clean but felt tired. The shower area had some black mildew on the grouting which made the very clean bathroom feel not so clean. There was an ironing board in the Rubin I couldn’t find the iron

Staff were lovely great location and the creek bar/restaurant was great for drinks and food which had great views parking was good.

Over priced for what it is, rooms basic bed was two single beds pushed together husband bed was comfortable mine wasn’t mattress must have been very worn as could feel springs and dipped in the middle, such a shame as for price was expecting it to compare to its star rating
