The apartment is right on the main strip in Durrës, close to the beach, and the balcony has a lovely sea view — honestly worth a lot. The space is well-equipped with modern appliances and the bed is large and comfortable.
That said, there are a few things future guests should know. The bathroom is cramped and awkwardly laid out — you step out of the shower directly onto the toilet, and there’s a persistent damp smell. The shutters have issues, and the AC unit constantly drips from the neighbours’ unit above, which becomes annoying over time.
The balcony faces the main road right next to Mirai club, so expect a mix of club music and World Cup match noise well past midnight. If you’re a light sleeper, bring earplugs.
On the host side, basic consumables (toilet paper, dish soap, sponge, paper towels) were not provided on arrival and the apartment hadn’t been fully cleaned before check-in. Communication with Adam was polite and responsive, but follow-through was slow and some things were never fully resolved.
Bottom line: great spot, sea view makes up for a lot, but don’t expect a hotel experience — come prepared.
