The room is comfortable for a family of four or less, and we had 3 adults and one child. We stayed only one night before continuing on to Flåm. If you want a a good rate and a clean room, this is a great alternative to a hotel.
The shower water only stayed warm for a couple of minutes. I’m not sure if we were doing something wrong or not, but be prepared to take a quick shower.
Everyone in our party is American so this may only apply for American tourists, but keep in mind this room is quite small compared to what you’d fine back home. It’s what we’d consider a “studio apartment”.

An unforgettable experience, largely thanks to our incredible host, Jarand. After falling victim to an accommodation scam in Bergen, we were left stranded late at night with our 5-year-old child. I reached out to Jarand in desperation, and he replied immediately, going above and beyond to arrange emergency accommodation for us in a neighboring house. We took a night train and arrived in Voss around midnight. At the station, a wonderfully kind taxi driver went out of his way to come back and drop us off safely.
Jarand's exceptional hospitality and the genuine kindness of the local people turned a very stressful situation into a heartwarming memory. Highly recommend this place not just for the stay, but for the outstanding human warmth you will experience!
Nothing to complain about! The host's incredible help and kindness completely overshadowed any minor imperfections. We are just so grateful.

房间窗户正对河边，风景很好，屋子非常的紧凑，或者说有点小，我们的两个24寸行李箱开都有些困难，厨房很紧凑，床挺舒服的，位置也很好找，房主指示很清楚。电磁炉很好用。
1、厨房没有刀，如果能增加一把刀具就好了
2、屋子里没有电吹风，很不方便
3、淋浴没有放洗面奶洗发水的架子
4、房间太局促，如果是两个24寸对开的箱子，没法打开

The location is great, right in the center of Voss, with shops and sights just a short walk away. The apartment is modern, nicely renovated, comfortable, and well-equipped.
Just keep in mind there’s a rock café right below the windows, open until 2–3 a.m. on weekends. You can also hear some street traffic.
If you’re a light sleeper, bring earplugs.
