A lovely little cottage, nicely tucked away which completely suited our needs and was very good value for money. It was very clean, there was a really useful folder of information on the coffee table, the beds were super comfy and the delicious rice crispie cakes awaiting our arrival after a 4 hour journey were a fabulous treat! There was also a little welcome gift for my daughter which was a very thoughtful touch. There was a small carton of milk plus tea/coffee/sugar/herbal teas available in the kitchen, as well as washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets, sponge/scourer etc.
There was a low level of road noise throughout the night but this didn't detract from our stay at all (but something to possibly be aware of if you're a light sleeper).
It was lovely to see the local support for the pub although we didn't actually pop in ourselves.
The badger food hatch was quite exciting to monitor!
There was a very large bath towel provided for each of us and tea towels. As well as handsoap and body wash in the bathroom. A lot of thought and effort has been put into making this a lovely place to stay.
This really is a hidden gem and we are already considering dates for a return!

If I had to write something bad it would be that the property was a little small but that’s only if I’m being very picky. Everything that we needed was inside

Lots of character. Had everything we needed. Next door to pub! Own parking. Good location.
Could do with microwave but that’s being very picky!
