To get the keys quite a long way from the house

There is a lot of space in this apartment! The beds were comfortable beds and the apartment featured modern touches throughout. The outdoor patio is fantastic. It's rare to find an apartment like this with two bathrooms, which was nice for privacy between family members. One of the smaller living room couches can fold down into a bed if you unzip the corners and fold out the legs. There is a great Chinese food take-away place right across the street. At night it was quiet.
The apartment host was very communicative before and during our stay. We appreciate that they walked us through how to access the apartment, even sending some videos explaining how to get to the elevator. The lobby is a little confusing, so this was particularly helpful.
The location is good if you are travelling by underground and/or don't mind walking. We had a wheelchair and needed to taxi at times, which can add up over a few days. That's not to say you can't walk to every major attraction if you want to - on a few days we decided to simply walk and enjoy the views to and from the apartment. Major attractions like Big Ben, Buckingham Palace, the London Eye, Westminster, British Museum, and the West Side and 30min to 1hr walking distance.
Although the keys were available 24/7 at a local convenience store, the location is about a 10min walk from the apartment. Normally this would not be a problem, but with a family of 4 with lots of luggage, it makes things a bit more challenging. We had a taxi drop everyone off at the apartment then one family member went to get the keys while the others waited. On our way back to the airport, we asked the taxi to stop by the convenience store so we could drop off the keys. This isn't a huge deal, but it was another hurdle to enjoying our vacation. The other places we stayed in Europe had key boxes right at the building entrances.
The living room features a very large folding door that would have been great for airing out the apartment when we visited during a heatwave, but the door was in disrepair in not functional. This was shared after we had booked the apartment. The apartment got VERY hot. This was made worst by the broken folding door, because we were not able to air out the heat that accumulated during the day. The night we arrived the apartment was sweltering like an oven. One of us fell ill to heat exhaustion. I can't blame the apartment for a heatwave, but it would have made a big difference if the large door could open and more powerful fans were available to cool down.
We also found the shower heads, shower control knob, and shower sliding door handle were loose or missing. The heads were particularly frustrating, because they would simply tilt down and point at the floor unless held. These items would not take much to repair and if they were in good working order, I would give this apartment a 9/10.

Der Aufenthalt war ganz hervorragend. Die Lage in Kennington ist zentral und kurz zur london City. Die Gastgeberin war sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Die Ausstattung war sehr komfortabel mit sehr schöner Terrasse... Daher Wohung sehr zu empfehlen

The flat is really good. They provided coffee, tea, sugar, hairdryer, shower essentials. The bed might be harder for some but perfect for me and my friends. The host is amazing! Very responsive and even checks-in now and then if we need anything. I would really recommend this place.
Nothing really, I guess it gets a bit warm if all doors are close which I would say is normal in European countries. They provided fans in every room though.
