TERRIBLE,

We had a number of problems with the accommodation, tried to contact the manager, wouldn't answer her phone, tried to get help from Booking.com all we had was promises. Don't book this accommodation, its a nightmare.

Asked for £50 deposit, no receipt, still waiting for return 3 weeks later. Double quilt ripped right across, asked for replacement, told they hadn't got any. Table and chairs outside were padlocked together so couldn't use, told later very abruptly,that code was the same as the van, but didn't have that as the door was unlocked and key inside. Humidifier on top of wardrobe overflowed onto pillows and bedding in one bedroom, label on carton said very caustic, 7 year old Grandson slept in that room, luckily it was spotted before he went to bed, tried again to contact manager through Booking.com.., she denied there being a humidifier in the bedroom, in the van. IN FACT THERE WAS ONE IN BOTH THE SINGLE BEDROOMS.

Disappointing

Communication was fine.

On arrival, the caravan was not as well presented as pictured in the photos, lots of peeling and cracked melamine, black mold on the back of bedroom curtains and smelt musty in main bedroom drawers, we didnt use them. The caravan in general didnt feel looked after, the outside seating area furniture was filthy from the winter, old brown leaves and green algae, in my opinion it had not been cleaned ready for the new spring season and new bookings, disappointing really, as it was a lovely sunny day during our one night stay and I wasn't going to clean them before I could use them! Plumbing was an issue, when the toilet was flushed "waste" and water was rising and backing up to the en suite toilet making loud bubbling sounds! No parking at side of caravan as it was a couple of rows back, not an issue as there was a parking bay in the road, but the surrounding areas we had to use as a "cut through" were generally unkempt and the majority of the surrounding Poplars area that the caravan was sited felt scruffy unfortunately, would not recommend or return.
