Our stay at The Emerald Hill Villa was nothing short of spectacular. We spent the second half of our family holiday here from May 18th–20th after visiting Sanur, and it was the perfect climax to our trip.
From start to finish, the communication was flawless. A few days before we arrived, the management reached out via WhatsApp to check in, confirm our arrival time, and see if we needed anything prepared. They were incredibly polite and proactive, which set a wonderful tone before we even stepped foot on the property.
What truly sets this villa apart, however, is the staff's genuine care and hospitality. My dad suffers from severe mobility issues, and upon our arrival, the team didn't hesitate for a second. They went completely above and beyond, gently assisting him up the stairs and taking absolute care of him, while simultaneously carrying all of our heavy luggage inside. After a long day of moving around the island, their warmth and willingness to help was a massive relief for our family.
As for the villa itself—wow. It is absolutely beautiful and extremely aesthetically pleasing (perfect for those Instagram-worthy photos!). The private pool was amazing, and the open living, kitchen, and dining layout perfectly accommodated our family’s needs, giving us a gorgeous space to relax together.
One morning, the private chef prepared a breakfast spread that was out of this world. Not only was it delicious, but it was so incredibly generous that it practically kept us full until the late afternoon!
Throughout our stay, communication remained flawless. Whenever we had a quick question or needed assistance, I could simply message management on WhatsApp, and they responded instantly, sorting out any request immediately.
The location in Central Ubud was spot-on—central enough to make every single activity on our itinerary easily accessible, yet it still felt like a private sanctuary.
