It is a nicely renovated room with awesome views of Positano. The accomodation was really clean and the SITA bus stop that takes you to Sorrento or Amalfi is right outside the property. Lots of cute cafes and restaurants close by.

The photos of the spa are super misleading, the spa is dirty and can't really be used. We weren't allowed to check in earlier. Lots of steps from town centre up to the property (normal for positano though). Overall the photos are a bit misleading and the property is overpriced for what it is.

The location is excellent if you don't mind climbing stairs. Personally, I had no problem with them. In fact, stairs are part of the Positano experience! View from the window is also amazing.

Communication with the property was frustrating. It felt as though they didn't want to be bothered by their guests. We had to rush to arrive before 5:00 p.m. to avoid an extra check-in fee, something that was not mentioned during the booking process. When we arrived, we were greeted by an elderly lady who didn't speak any English, which made communication quite difficult. The room itself was reasonably good. However, the entrance to the building was neglected and looked almost abandoned. There was also some rubbish outside that, surprisingly, nobody seemed to bother cleaning up. At €350 per night, you definitely expect a much better overall experience. Yes, it's Positano, and it has an incredible reputation. Unfortunately, I fear that reputation will fade if too many businesses focus only on making quick money instead of providing genuine hospitality. There are many other beautiful destinations that offer better service and much more respect for their visitors. I feel sorry for the place, because it deserves better—but I can't say the same for the attitude of some of the people working there.
