The property was lovely, the best part being the proprietors who were incredibly friendly and personable. They took time out of their morning to chat with us over coffee and they will be the reason we will return. The property itself was well thought out, comfortable, and nicely designed. We were only there a night but both of us commented on how comfortable the rooms were and how tidy and orderly everything was. We will definitely return next time we need a stay in Midcoast!
There wasn't much to not like, the parking when we first arrived was a bit confusing but once the parking lot was shown to us all was well.

Man ist nicht in einem Hotel, sondern bei jemandem zu Hause. Aber nicht auf die creepy crappy Art und Weise, sondern genau richtig! Ihr wisst, was ich meine!
Alles ist einfach gut so wie es ist. Alles an seinem Platz. Nichts zu viel, nichts zu wenig. Und auf jeden Fall den Preis wert, denn alles scheint nachhaltig, fair, von bester Qualität und mit viel Liebe ausgewählt zu sein. Sei es die Einrichtung, die Pflegeprodukte oder das Frühstück. Das Lindsey lebt von seinem ganz besonderen Ambiente (und hey, wir sind Europäer:innen!) und seinen Gastgeber:innen.
Ich bin mir sicher, dass irgendjemand irgendetwas findet.
Aber ich bin mir auch sicher, dass man mit den Betreiber:innen eine schnelle, einfache Lösung dafür finden wird.

Beautiful hotel with a ton of character. Owners are amazing and some of the nicest people we’ve met. Location is perfect for anything in Rockland or the islands.
