Villabassa is a quiet, pretty town and an excellent base if you're exploring the Dolomites. We drove to Tre Cime, Lago di Sorapis and Lago di Braies, all easy day trips from here. Braies is only 20 minutes away. Worth noting you'll want a car, since we were leaving before 6am most days.
The house itself was spotless, the beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped, which mattered a lot as we cooked most nights. The balcony is huge. For five people the value was excellent.
Filomena was responsive and welcoming throughout, answered every question quickly, and was flexible about our very early checkout. Would happily stay again.
Only minor thing: with the windows open you notice the river, and some train and road noise. Not an issue with them closed, but worth knowing if someone is sleeping in the living room.

L'alloggio è ristrutturato a nuovo e c'è tutto ciò che serve. E' spazioso e luminoso. La posizione è ottima: vicinissimo al Kurpark (pochi minuti a piedi), parco immerso nel verde. In 5 minuti, inoltre, si arriva in paese. Comodo per raggiungere in breve tempo tutti i posti più belli nei dintorni, sia con la macchina che con i mezzi pubblici. La proprietaria è stata molto gentile e disponibile!

L'accueil a été top, hôte réactive. Le logement est à moins de 10 minutes du centre à pied, à partir duquel il est possible de prendre le train ou les bus. Le logement est calme, propre, bien équipé.
Rien du tout. Une information utile pour les futures arrivées: en arrivant, vous devez passer un petit pont qui passe au dessus d'une petite rivière.
