It is further out from the centre than I realised, but there is an excellent bus service. For a place to drop off bags,

It ticked all the boxes for our one night stay to see a gig. It was spacious, clean, on a good bus route. The host (Ali) was absolutely brilliant. Very helpful.

Sharing the bathroom. We couldn’t get in at all to start with. Once in it was a lovely space, clean, and with all the necessary elements expected.

Not a lot!

Upon arriving first thing I noticed was our room was clearly the family living space with a very uncomfortable sofa bed. The curtains to the front window did not cover the window and you could see in. The room door was not lockable from inside. The shared bathroom was in fact the family bathroom who seemed to be living in the room across from the bathroom door. Location to Edinburgh was about £30 in an Uber. Parking was in the street around the corner. I wanted a cup of tea but the kitchen was locked and I could not get hot water or milk.
