The rating looked bad but the price was good for my budget. I was informed by a couple of locals told me it had been took over, so l was very happy

Room was spacious and clean bed was comfortable. Breakfast cook does not arrive until 0900 we tried it once but was not impressed. However just across the road is a breakfast cafe which do excellent meals and it is open from 0800 there are also several cafes on Roker Beach. The hotel is very reasonable price wise. and the location is just opposite the beach.
Breakfast times to late could do with being earlier.

Nice location, good size room, nice bar, very clean throughout. The lady that cleans the rooms is lovely and friendly. Free parking.
Base on one of the beds was broken so couldn't sleep comfortable. Bedside light didn't work. Tap on bathroom sink broken and leaked water from the base. No spoon to make tea/coffee. No bathmat in bathroom making it dangerous when getting out of shower onto wooden floor. No bin in room.
