Good location with easy access to public transport — otherwise, a complete disaster
The location is convenient, with good access to public transport. Unfortunately, that is about the only positive thing we can say about this apartment.
Yes, the apartment is old, and we were aware of that from the photos. However, the reviews we read before booking were mostly positive, so we did not expect the actual condition to be this bad. Our first impression was literally that we had walked into our grandmother’s apartment from decades ago.
At first glance, the apartment seemed reasonably clean — until we opened the microwave. The attached photo does not even come close to capturing the disgusting smell that immediately spread throughout the entire kitchen.
The kitchen was also poorly equipped. The dishwasher had no tablets, making it useless, and there was not even a dish towel available for washing dishes by hand.
But the biggest problem was the shower. The shower hose was completely unusable (see photo), and the host must have known about this issue. The bathtub itself looked clean, but without a functioning shower, proper washing was simply not possible. We informed the host about the problem, but they did absolutely nothing to fix it and did not even attempt to provide a solution.
The Wi-Fi was another problem. It simply did not work, and the password provided was incorrect. The issue was not with our devices, despite the host trying to blame them when we arrived. Interestingly, this was the only issue the host bothered to respond to by message. Our request regarding the broken shower was completely ignored.
To sum it up: apparently, the host is perfectly comfortable with guests having inadequate hygiene conditions, insufficient kitchen equipment and non-functional Wi-Fi. An apartment with a 1960s look and outdated furnishings might be charming or even amusing to some people — but only if it is properly maintained. This one clearly is not.
Had we known the real condition of the apartment, we would never have booked it.
YourApart — never again!

Wygodne materace do spania.
