A Heartfelt Thank You ❤️ The property was so well organised and welcoming that, honestly, we all felt like we were at home. 🏡❤️ We didn’t eat out even once during our stay because the kitchen was so well equipped and organised that we cooked all our meals ourselves. My wife especially enjoyed cooking there—it felt just like being at home. Everything we needed was available, even washing-up liquid and all the little things that make a stay comfortable. There was no need to worry about the children while we were cooking either. They had their own space, a TV with all the channels they loved, and they absolutely loved their bedroom. The lighting settings were amazing too! 😊 We had a small electrical issue during our stay, but Debra immediately contacted an electrician and got it sorted. That kind of quick response really showed how much she cares about her guests. Breakfast was another thing we didn’t have to worry about. A toaster was available, and we could prepare our own coffee. As a big coffee fan, I really appreciated that! ☕😄 The children loved the chocolate powder my wife prepared for them as well. And the marmalade from Essex — Wilkin & Sons — was absolutely lovely! These little touches really made us feel that our hosts genuinely care about their customers and want them to enjoy their stay. I have absolutely no doubt in recommending this place to others. 💯 It is a trustworthy, comfortable and welcoming place, and we would happily stay again. And finally, something that really touched us… I accidentally left my iPhone at the property. Debra sent me a photo and asked if it was ours. After asking me a few questions, she realised it was my phone. By then, I was already about an hour away. She told me not to worry, to enjoy the rest of our holiday, and that she would send it to me by post. I offered to transfer the postage cost, but she refused to take even a penny. And today, I received my phone safely.

I took a leap of faith booking a new property on Booking.com and I'm so glad I did! The Joseph Cosy is incredibly spacious, immaculately clean, and thoughtfully equipped with everything you need for a real home-from-home stay, and the beds are so comfy. From the outside, tucked away on one of Lancaster's cobbled lanes, you would never guess how much space is inside, it's a real tardis. Sitting in the lounge you can see the Ashton Memorial, while the Priory is visible from the rear of the property. The location couldn't be better. Lancaster Castle is just a few minutes' walk away, along with plenty of cafés, restaurants, and shops, making it easy to explore everything the city has to offer, with plenty of car parks nearby. What really stood out was the attention to detail, the comfort, and how relaxing the whole place felt. It's an excellent choice for families, groups of friends, or anyone looking for a comfortable base in the heart of Lancaster. Would absolutely stay again.

Very nice place for 12 of us. Easy access to the property. Quiet despite being in city centre.

No parking. There is near by pay parking option how ever its always busy.

Comfortable beds. Really big place. A really convenient place especially if you have children!
