good location, good modern design. matres was ok.
We had a problem with the bathroom. I assume it is because it is an old building, but when we arrived at 2 AM, the smell in the bathroom was terrible. It smelled like sewer — really bad. We turned on the AC and opened all the doors and windows. Thankfully, the smell went away after about two hours.
There was also an issue with the shower/tub. After two days, the water stopped draining. We cleaned the drain opening from all the dirt every day. It is not a pleasant job to clean a dirty, smelly drain while you are on vacation.
Also, there is a glass door right in front of the toilet — literally right in front of it. It leads directly to the kitchen. I am not sure who came up with this design, but it is definitely not sexy. 😂 If you want to use the toilet, you basically have to ask all the guests to leave the kitchen, living room and take a smoke break. Or, if you don't want your spouse to see your big eyes while you are in the middle of #2, you ask her to leave apartment ...! and you better hope nobody walks by. The glass is not completely clear, but man... it doesn't help much.
And yes, there is another design problem. They put tile flooring in the bathroom that looks dirty by design. It has this kind of old castle-style tile. Honestly, I was afraid to walk barefoot on it. I knew it was clean, but my brain just couldn't handle how dirty it looked.
EVERY TIME you step out of the shower, you are afraid to put your bare feet on the tile floor.
