Disappointing stay – several advertised facilities were unavailable
Unfortunately, our stay was quite disappointing due to several issues with the apartment and the facilities that were advertised.
The gym was not operational, despite being listed as an available facility. I contacted the host to ask for a solution, but unfortunately no alternative was offered. As a result, I had to purchase a gym pass elsewhere at a cost of USD 12 per day.
There was also a lot of construction work taking place, which negatively affected the overall experience.
The pool was only available after 2:00 PM. Due to the time difference and the high temperatures later in the day, this was far too late for us to make proper use of the pool.
There was no microwave in the apartment. I was told that previous tenants had damaged it, but again, no solution was offered. In my opinion, if an appliance is broken, it should be replaced, especially when it is an expected facility.
The iron was eventually provided the following day after I requested one.
On the positive side, the view overlooking the airport and the sea is very nice, and the small jacuzzi is particularly pleasant in the morning. The apartment itself was clean, but very basic. In my opinion, the mattresses were too hard and felt to be of relatively poor quality, which affected the comfort of the stay.
I also tried to cancel the booking the following day, as the reservation had been made through Booking.com, but unfortunately I received no response to my cancellation request.
Overall, while the location and views have potential, the lack of functioning facilities, the construction, and the lack of solutions when problems were reported made the stay much less enjoyable than expected. I would recommend that the host ensure that all advertised facilities are actually operational and that suitable alternatives are provided when something is unavailable.

No visa link.
