La posizione è eccezionale: direttamente sul mare, con tanti ristoranti, caffè e negozi raggiungibili a piedi. Ogni sera abbiamo ammirato tramonti spettacolari dal balcone, mentre ogni mattina abbiamo iniziato la giornata con un caffè vista mare. Un’esperienza davvero rilassante.
L’appartamento è pulito, confortevole e dotato di tutto il necessario per una vacanza piacevole. Gli host sono stati molto cordiali, disponibili e sempre pronti ad aiutarci.

Amazing stay at this Apartment in Durrës! The sunrise and sunset views on our lovely balcony by the sea were absolutely breathtaking. Perfect location directly near the beach, restaurants, cafés, and cultural spots. The apartment was spotless, modern, and very comfortable. Highly recommended for a relaxing stay in Durrës!

The flat stands out for its location and nice view.
If you don’t mind a bit of hustle and bustle, this is the place for you.
We were allowed to check in 30 minutes early.
The accommodation has seen better days. The fittings could
do with a bit of a refresh. Some things just look run-down.
One example is the rusty ashtray on the balcony
(we took pictures, but currently it is not possible to add them
to the review).
We knew that the kitchen only had hobs,
so no oven or microwave. But unfortunately there isn’t
a frying pan, salad bowl or anything of the sort either.
The cleanliness could be better, too.
Speaking of which, the walls are thin. The flat above us
was apparently being cleaned early this morning at 7.30 am.
It started with chairs being moved about to wake us up, then there was
quite a lot of noise for three-quarters of an hour. Not exactly what you’d
want before your first coffee.
To top this off, the doorbell rang shortly after half past ten,
A young woman told us we had to leave now, as the next
guests were on their way.
We said we’d be gone in 20 minutes.
At that point, the owner of the accommodation talked to us over the young ladies’
phone and informed us that check-out had been at 10 am and we were already
extremely late.
A moment of panic:: had we got the time wrong by an hour?
We switched on the computer and checked the booking: 11 am, not 10.
It seems the owner isn’t familiar with her own guidelines.
Now, here’s what made us feel the worst:
we could only pay in cash, preferably in euros. But we didn’t have any.
In the local currency, we were then charged 8,000 LEK instead of 80 euros.
I tried to explain that, according to the current exchange rate,
that’s over 85 euros, but they either couldn’t or wouldn’t understand.
