We rented the proper the property for a high school graduation mountain bike vacation. The location and setup was perfect for our needs.The location was about a 3 minute bike ride to the School Trail trailhead in E. Haven which features Black Bear Trail. We did multiple runs on Black Bear what is often rated as one of the best trails in the world according to Trail Forks.You can also bike into the East Burke area trails either by climbing Haul Road at School Trails going over the top and then down to the New School Area outside E. Burke, or you can take the main road into East Burke and get any trail head - It's a fast road, but there is a decent shoulder and drivers in this area are fairly considerate of bikers.You have access to a garage to keep your outdoor gear which was very handy. We grilled on the deck some days or often went into E. Burke for dinner. We wound down our days either with the hot tub or sauna to get ready for the next days miles.Would recommend\would go back again.
