Welcome to Tangi Moana, a relaxed coastal bach tucked away at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac on the scenic Wairarapa coast.
Please note: Due to a recent wet weather event part lawn area is in a currently in a state of repair.
Explore the region’s iconic spots and outdoor adventures, then return to unwind in the open-plan living area that flows onto a front deck with sweeping views over the Cook Strait. With a large section for the kids to play and magical sunsets over the bay, it’s the perfect coastal escape.

Cape Palliser Lighthouse and Seal Colony.
Walks including the Putanga Pinnacles (5min drive).
Fishing, diving, hunting and surfing.
Eat, drink and shop:
Lake Ferry Hotel (22min)
Waimeha Bar & Grill (10min)
Martinborough (45min)
Pirinoa Supermarket (20min)
The Land Girl Café (20min)
Please bring your own sheets, sleeping bags and towels as linen is not included in the tariff.
Cleaning is also not included in the tariff, so please leave the house as you found it and take all your rubbish with you.
There is no WIFI – this is a place to switch off a little from the world and enjoy the moment.
Mobile coverage: The Spark/Skinny network works well and has the best coverage around the South Wairarapa Coast. Other networks are unreliable.

We booked our stay very last minute for our family..Darren was very flexible and accommodating, communication was very quick..Place had everything we needed and was perfect with the different sleeping areas for the teens to have their own space..Was a nice extra touch having the Woodburner there with the weather being colder and loved sitting out on the deck having dinner as a family..We enjoyed it there so much we asked to stay another night which wasn't a problem..Beach front was a 2 minute walk down the street, beautiful spot to watch the sunsetWe highly recommend staying here and we will definitely be back again..Great place for families
