The well-equipped kitchen has all the necessities and then some. Make use of the bonus kitchen gadgets like a waffle iron, electric kettle, and French press to do breakfast up right! Climb the floating staircase to a loft space that will make the perfect kids' clubhouse. This upstairs bonus room has an additional sleep space, half bath, flat-screen TV, and even a computer desk for your remote school or work needs.
The nearest slopes are less than ten miles away, and you can soak in the luxurious hot tub after a fun day on the slopes. Parking is limited to 1 vehicle in the driveway only.
Street parking is not permitted and may result in fines or towing.
Please make sure cars are parked fully within the driveway and not blocking sidewalks or neighboring properties.
Oversized vehicles, trailers, RVs, and boats are not allowed.
Garbage and recycling should be stored in the big metal bear box next to the driveway. There is a latch on the front of the bear box. You will lift the latch with your hand when opening and closing the bear box. Our bears are pretty smart. DO NOT LEAVE THE BEAR BOX UNLATCHED. This will ensure that the local wildlife cannot get to your trash.
NOTE: The city of South Lake Tahoe takes the safety of their wildlife and the beauty of their city very seriously. So please never leave garbage outside overnight as the wildlife will find it, and guests will be responsible for any clean up or fines that may occur.
*Warning - Please watch your step, as the stairs get icy, and watch for falling icicles
*Guests must provide their own wood for the wood stove
*Streaming services are available with guests' own accounts
The entrance to this home is located below street level. Guests must be comfortable traveling 15 steps to access the home.

Wonderful property, close to all amenities - ski areas, hiking trails, lakes, etc. Enjoyed the hot tub. Very comfortable, would like to stay here again sometime soon.

Pros-Hot tub, location, comfy beds downstairs, comfortable for three people, communication with management company was easy. Cons-Coffee filters not provided (what?!?!?), no placemats/tablecloth, no cupboard space to store food, dishwasher doesn't work great leaving residue on dishes, twin bed upstairs very uncomfortable, service fee ridiculously high.Overall-Would definitely stay again but be better prepared for my morning coffee. The ease of getting to the ski resorts and the Y, as well as the fabulous hot tub to soak in after a day of skiing, override the small annoyances.

it was very clean. The kitchen was well stocked, except no salt or pepper or any basic condiments which we found strange.
The sheets and towels are washed with a heavily scented detergent. Those sensitivity should bring their own.
They are remodeling the cabin, but didn’t tell us before we went — there’s lots of disarray around it, but the interior is fine.
