The living areas in this single-storey property consist of a kitchen/diner with an electric hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, and dishwasher, and a sitting room with TV, a selection of books, and a balcony with furniture. There is also a double bedroom and a shower room. Outside there is a shared wrap-around lawn, a private decked area with furniture, and off-road parking for one car. This is a pet-free and smoke-free property. Fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. You'll find a shop in 1.6 miles and a pub in 2.1 miles. The Brake Wagon at High Barn Heritage is a wonderful base for a romantic break to Essex. Note: This is an adult only property. Note: There are a flight of steps, with handrail to both the front and rear of the property. Note: The garden is not enclosed.

Halstead is an old-fashioned market town located in Essex's Braintree District. The town's centre is cut through by the River Colne, which offers lovely riverside strolls. Independent boutique stores, family butchers and bakers, cafés, restaurants, a multitude of floral attractions, structures constructed by the Courtauld family, and two lovely churches are just a few of the amenities available to guests. The town is especially well-liked by florists. Halstead in Bloom, which was founded in 2000 and has won the GOLD award every year since 2009, was also chosen by RHS Britain in Bloom as the Best Town in Anglia in Bloom five times. While Colchester, an old Essex town with a wide range of attractions including the family favourites Colchester Zoo and Colchester Castle, is a little further away, it offers a popular shopping destination.
