Very cool little house, it’s like stepping back in time, or into a museum! Was very comfortable and warm and well set up with things for guests. Beds were comfortable and a good location close to the beach and town.

All facilities including washer and dryer.
It is a great location.
The smell.. the house wasn't dirty, but because of the old smell it didn't seem clean.

The location was great for Foxton Beach and surrounding areas, close to the beach and a good cafe. Complimentary voucher to use towards the local cafe, which was a good place to eat. Ok for a basic stay, somewhere to sleep for a night.
No basic toiletries provided - not even shower gel, no bath mat, had to take our own rubbish home, crockery was dirty, daughter could not choose which bed she wanted to sleep in, light bulb not working (had to replace ourself), noisy neighbour leaving loud car engine idling early in the morning which vibrated through the entire house. Not a great experience overall. Glad we didn't pay much more.
