The apartment is as described on the website. It’s cosy and comfortable with all necessary conveniences for a holiday. The apartment has been refurbished with a close eye to detail to guarantee a comfortable stay. It’s close to the cathedral, the railway station, the bus stop, the Canal du Midi, and the bars and restaurants on the riverbank. The neighbourhood in the historic centre of Agde is quiet both by day and night with its own unique ambience. The host is accessible at any time. Access is straightforward. You contact the host on arrival who will facilitate entry into the building from his phone and give you the code to the key box. There is an excellent washing machine and clothes rack. For those with mobility issues, the 41 steps or so to the third floor may be a challenge. Some may find the neighbourhood and the building a bit off putting but it’s integral to its historic location and architectural style. If on a cycling holiday, check with the host about bicycle storage as space is very limited.
