Anna's Rose Holiday Home is in an excellent location, within easy reach of all the main attractions in town. The apartment is very basic but clean, and the bed was extremely comfortable.
However, a few improvements would make the stay more enjoyable. There is no coffee machine or microwave. A small oven is provided for heating food, but it takes quite a long time. The towels were clean but very old and could do with replacing.

A wonderful location in the heart of the old town! Our host Anna was lovely and kindly agreed to let us check-in much earlier than the scheduled time! Many thanks to Anna for the complimentary bottle of excellent wine and some snacks! It was absolutely wonderful to sit on the terrace with a glass of wine, overlooking the sea and listening to a musician playing on the waterfront. The property does have one drawback: it’s a four-story building with stairs, so it wouldn’t be suitable for elderly or physically frail guests—though it’s perfectly fine for the young and energetic. Carrying a cup of coffee from the kitchen (on the first floor) up to the terrace (on the fourth floor) isn’t the most convenient, but the fantastic location and the wonderful host more than make up for it.

50 meters from the sea front and close to lots of good restaurants and bars. Easy walking - just 15 minutues from free parking. Very clean and tidy and as described in Booking.com. Monopoli is also a real find to base trips out to the various towns and villages in the area

Well situated in the historical centre of Monopoli. It also had a sun terrace which would be fabulous in the summer months.
There was a smell of stagnant water which we were made aware of on arrival. The accommodation is over 4 floors including the sun terrace, however the smell resulted us staying on the third floor in our bedroom for the whole of our stay.
Facilities are dated, the shower for example was old and not powerful, towels were old and adapters were needed for power to any electrical appliances.
