Absolutely beautiful building and very well restored and decorated. We loved that as many original features as possible had been retained while modernising the inside The location is perfect and the views from our room were stunning.
Everyone we met was so friendly and made us feel right at home. No request was too much and always done with a smile and some conversation.
We found no negatives on staying here

Isolated location but within easy walking distance to the town centre.
Really enjoyed the communal dining which was enhanced by the friendly atmosphere shared with the other guests. Food at dinner and breakfast was excellent.
Our room had a huge, very comfortable bed and the bathroom with walk in shower was super.

Views, interiors, luxury combined with comfort. Friendly and welcoming staff. Lovely mix of guests and enjoyable conversations in communal spaces.
High charge for hot tub usage, was very nice but very expensive additional cost.

Beautiful views and interior. Nice setting and great indoor and outdoor seating area. Chris their head butler was very forthcoming.
Bathroom was a bit too dark but high quality.
