Some places are just meant for people who want to slow down, and Loopin McLeodganj is one of them. Tucked away from the usual tourist rush, it offers the kind of peace that's becoming hard to find. Waking up to birds, greenery, and mountain views was exactly what I needed.
The biggest highlight, though, was the people. Adarsh and Kaushal made every interaction effortless with their warmth and genuine care. They don't just manage a property—they create an atmosphere where guests feel like they're staying with friends rather than at a hostel.
If you're looking for a place that values tranquility, good conversations, and heartfelt hospitality over loud parties and crowds, this is the perfect choice. I'll definitely be back.
There wasn't anything that affected my stay. If anything, I only wish I had booked a longer stay to enjoy the peaceful surroundings.

I absolutely loved my stay at Loopin McLeodganj—it truly felt like a home away from home. A special thanks to Adarsh, the Property Manager, and Kaushal for their exceptional hospitality. They made sure every guest felt welcomed and cared for, giving the place a warm, personal touch rather than the feel of a commercial hostel.
The property is surrounded by lush greenery, offering a peaceful atmosphere that's perfect for anyone looking to disconnect from the crowds and unwind. I arrived feeling restless, hoping to find a quiet escape, and instead discovered a hidden gem. The calm surroundings, beautiful views, and genuine hospitality made my stay memorable. I would happily return and highly recommend it to anyone visiting McLeodganj.
Honestly, nothing significant. If I had to mention one thing, it would be that leaving after such a peaceful stay was the hardest part.

In short… Everything!
The Dorm, the facilities, supplies and back-up, location and especially cleanliness, all topped the rankings.
Special mention to the behaviour of staff and their helpful nature.
A few upcoming renovations are a bit distracting. However they don’t directly affect the experience.
