My worst experience ever on Booking.com!
Wow - what a SCAMMER!!! Had my worst experience thanks to this property owner. Please NEVER book the Golden Buddha Apartment and the Rooftop Flower Power Apartment! Does not react to any communication (not via SMS, not via Booking app, not via phone) but still is able to send check-in messages.
The fun part?
They offered the same apartment SEVERAL TIMES to different people. Unbelievable! When we wanted to do the check-in, the key box was empty. I managed to get into the building and rang the door bell. A Czech woman opened and showed me here reservation for that day. She said, I am already the second person to try get into the apartment today.
I reported the case to booking.com. Of course the stay got canceled and I was left alone without a place to stay. The Booking.com team helped me with finding an alternative on the spot. Hence, if you want to avoid sharing an overbooked apartment with 3 other parties, I'd strongly advice to look for another property.
Such vendors must be blocked from Booking.com!
2026-09-29 edit: Reaction to property response:
For real? Are you joking?? Nothing else you came up with??? Shame on you!
Here are the facts:
* It was me contacting that property owner repeatedly over different channels (booking messenger, SMS, call attemp) in the 2 days before that next booking
* They ignored me the whole time over all channels, but were able to send me "a confirmation" at around 14:30 with an address.
* I was exactly at that very address with the EMPTY KEYBOX at 14:50 (check-in should have been at 15:00)
* I was running around for almost 3 hours with the booking.com support on the phone. Both of us were trying to reach out to the owner over all channels and all known numbers. Nothing. No reaction whatsoever. Just a dead end!
Instead of taking the opportunity to apologize for your inappropriate and unacceptable behaviour, you only make matters worse.

Celkovo sa nam pacilo, vsetko sme v okoli ubytovania mali po ruke ako aj MHD mali blizko
Lokalita vyborna,
Malo zariadeny byt, ale utulny.
