We had an overall nice stay in Castiglione della Pescaia. The apartment was spacious and comfortable for three people, and having a private parking space was a big advantage. The location was also very convenient, with easy access to both the beach and the town centre.
Unfortunately, we had an issue with the electricity during our stay. After the first day, whenever we used the air conditioning, the power would go off. The main power switch was located outside the building and wasn’t particularly easy to access, so having to go there each time to restore the electricity became quite frustrating.
We reported the problem to the host, but unfortunately it could not be resolved during our stay. As a result, we had to avoid using the air conditioning, including at night. Since the weather was very hot, sleeping without air conditioning was quite uncomfortable.
Apart from this issue, we enjoyed the apartment and appreciated the space, parking and convenient location. If the electricity/air-conditioning problem is fixed, it would be a very good place to stay.
