The apartment is extremely well located a 10-15mins walk from the train station and just minutes from Canal de la Robine with the food hall, shops, restaurants, cathedral complex nearby.
If you arrive in the morning you can drop your bag next door with the owner and get on with your day, while the apartment is made ready.
I found the apartment beautifully presented, well appointed (its got everything necessary for your stay) spacious, comfortable and clean. Air conditioning (heat pump) very efficient and much appreciated during the July / August heat. Contact with the owner is easily managed either via the Booking.com app or WhatsApp closer to travel time.
No hairdryer! A super small point but its nice to have the option.

La couleur du parquet et le revêtement de la cuisine , les murs de couleur blanche : une atmosphère clair. L’emplacement est idéal pour des personnes voulant être au cœur de Narbonne. La grande porte de l’entrée principale , un bâtiment ancien ayant du caractère. La modularité du canapé convertible en lit .Le nécessaire de cuisine et la fonctionnalité de celle - ci .
Ce logement n’est pas accessible en voiture . La vue sur l’extérieur donnant uniquement sur le bâtiment d’en face . Il n’y avait pas de lumière au niveau du plan de cuisine et de cuisson : la lumière de la hotte est bien trop insuffisante et ne fonctionne pas correctement.
Les lampes de chevet sans abat-jour étaient trop agressives . Il n’y avait pas de serpillière spéciale pour le plan de cuisine : uniquement des petites éponges , idem pour la salle de bain. Certaine finition de peinture ( tuyauteries de la salle de bain)
La cuvette des Wc qui était de travers ( je l’ai redressé) , la couleur des portes beaucoup trop sombres à mon goût. La poussière sur les plaintes .
Pas de double vitrage aux fenêtres .

The location is excellent!
The WiFi didn’t work.
The sofa isn’t really comfortable, it makes noises every time you turn in your sleep.
The stairs to the studio are very narrow and dark.
The pillows are extremely thin, we had to put towels under them to be able to sleep.
Though the apartment is located on a quiet street, the windows are old so you hear everything from the outside.
