Super nice host who gave us a wealth of information even before we arrived in Osaka and greeted us like friends after we arrived. . Beds were super comfortable, and the house is the most thoughtfully equipped lodging I have ever encountered in the last 15 years of travel. There was a trash can in every place you could want a trash can. There were plenty of towels for our party of 6. We found multi-purpose charging chords neatly placed in a container on the night stand. There were baskets of disposable toothbrushes, ear plugs, and bandaids for sore feet. He allowed us to store our luggage near the entrance before check-in and after check-out, which made our travels easier. Thank you for your wonderful hospitality and all the thought and love you put into hosting!
The stairs inside the house are very steep. Fine for the teenagers but a bit harder for grandma to access the kitchen and living room on the second floor. The bedroom on the ground floor was very helpful. Also, the house is further from the nearest train station than other lodgings we stayed at in Japan, so we ended up taking a taxi when we traveled with luggage.
