The house was gorgeous. The host met us and even helped with our luggage. When we first walked in, I was surprised to learn that the whole place was ours. Newly remodeled. Thankfully, no IKEA cardboard mattresses that give a unpleasant nights rest (wife loved the pillows). Rather, host chose comfort over economy. We especially enjoyed the 19th-20th century furniture throughout the house. Best equipped coffee stations I've every experienced at a rental. There was plenty of room for the whole family to just be. Very close to night life, dining, and grocery. Close enough to Athens' historical attractions. This was great first stay as we transition away from Air BnB.
There were a few minor oversights I shared with the host for improvement since we were the first renters. Lots of stairs families with small children should consider. The nightlife is nearby and continues into midnight for those who may be light sleepers. We would stay again though.
